War criminal Maurice Papon reportedly is demanding that the French government reinstate his pension rights. Papon, a former official for Vichy France, was convicted of crimes against humanity for his role in deporting more than 1,500 Jews to Nazi death camps in 1942, but he was released from prison in September for health reasons.
