Denominational conflicts in Hungary will only lead to the destruction of the nation, Minister of Education Homan stated today, addressing a gathering of deputies of the Parliament.
M. Homan urged the deputies to fight racial bigotry in the country. “We must not permit the development of race hatred in Hungary,” he said.
The Hungarian government is watching with keen interest Nazi activities in this country and is taking measures to curb anti-Jewish propaganda by Nazi agents. Special precautions are being taken in the universities where certain elements, believed to be subsidized by Germany, are ###ing an effort to spread anti-Jewish feeling among the students.
