ONLY A FEW HOURS BEFORE HIS DEATH FELIX M. WARBURG CABLED ANXIOUSLY TO THE OFFICE OF THE AMERICAN JEWISH JOINT DISTRIBUTION COMMITTEE ABOUT THE SITUATION OF THE JEWS IN EASTERN AND CENTRAL EUROPE OFFERING SUGGESTIONS FOR RELIEF.

THIS WAS REVEALED TODAY BY DR. BERNHARD KAHN, EUROPEAN DIRECTOR OF THE COMMITTEE, IN PAYING TRIBUTE TO THE NEW YORK PHILANTHROPIST’S HIGH SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SUFFERINGS OF JEWS IN POLAND, RUSSIA, PALESTINE AND OTHER COUNTRIES.
