The Polish Provisional Government has allotted funds to establish workshops to give industrial training to the surviving Jews of Poland, it was announced at a mass meeting here in the newly renovated Porez House.
Speakers pointed out that industrial training will be of value both to the Jews who plan to rebuild their lives in Poland and to those who plan to emigrate.
It was also announced that Dr. Philip Friedman has been named head of the Jewish Historical Commission which will investigate German atrocities against Jews committed in Poland.
