Fearing a repetition of the anti-Jewish riots during the May Day celebration last year, most of the Jewish workers organizations refrained from staging demonstrations or parades today.

A few hundred members of the Bund have arranged to parade today, under an escort supplied by the Polish Socialist Party. The Poale Zion who had intended to march were obliged to cancel the parade for lack of a non-Jewish contingent.
