The Warsaw Jewish community decided last night to form a Stavsky Defense Committee, composed of representatives of all Jewish groups. The committee is to include a number of leading Jewish personalities. The Volkist party, radical Jewish group, abstained from voting for the resolution, while the General Zionist representatives failed to appear at the meeting.
STAVSKY DEFENSE GETS $250
The sum of $250 has been donated by the Order Sons of Zion to the Stavsky Defense Committee, now seeking to raise money for expenses in the defense of Abraham Stavsky, Zionist Revisionist, convicted in the murder of Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff.
