Shouting for food, hundreds of Jewish unemployed stormed the offices of the Jewish Community of Warsaw today, demanding that its leaders save them and their families from hunger.

The disturbance attracted large crowds of foreigners and non-Jews. The Executive of the Jewish Community announced that the community was compelled to close its free kitchens for lack of funds.
