Warsaw Refuses Permit to Build Synagogue

Permission to build a synagogue at Muranow Square, asked by the Warsaw Kehillah Executive, was denied by the city government.

The proposal was made with the intention of dedicating the synagogue on the occasion of the tenth annivesary of Poland’s independence.
