The demand was made on the floor of the House of Commons today that the Palestine Government investigate the means by which Arab brigands who have been active of late have been able to obtain rifles.
Col. Josiah Wedgwood, labor Member of Parliament, made the request. Colonial Secretary J. H. Thomas refused to comply, stating that the Palestine authorities are fully alive to the importance of tracing arms smuggling, no matter which section of the population was suspected.
