Defense Minister Ezer Weizman was injured today when the car he was in overturned when the driver swerved to avoid hitting a pedestrian crossing the road. Weizman was admitted to Sheba Medical Center with a back injury while his driver, Yitzhak Azola, was hospitalized with a head injury. The accident occurred as Weizman was returning to the Defense Ministry headquarters here from Jerusalem where he had attended today’s Knesset meeting.
