The first public address since his arrival in this country was delivered by Dr. Chaim Weizmann last night at the Mecca Temple where a large audience assembled to hear the Zionist leader.
Representatives of the Zionist Organization. the United Palestine Appeal and of the various Zionist funds were present. Emanuel Neumann. chairman of the executive committee of the United Palestine Appeal, delivered the opening address. Judge William M. Lewis, chairman of the Appeal, presided.
Dr. Weizmann was enthusiastically greeted by the crowd.
