The executive council of the Weizmann Institute of Science today approved the institution’s operating budget of 21,000,000 pounds ($7,000,000) for the fiscal year 1966-67. The total represents an eight percent increase over last year’s figure.
The Volkswagen Motor Company, of Germany, contributed 1,500,000 Deutschemarks ($375, 000) to the Weizmann Institute last year, it was announced by the Institute today.
