A rumor that Dr. Chaim Weizmann will resign from his post as president of the international Zionist Organization to become the Chancellor of the Hebrew University on Mount Scopus as soon as the Jewish Agency is constituted was reported today by the “Jewish World,” Anglo-Jewish weekly.
According to the newspaper, Dr. Weizmann intends to accept the suggestion made to him some time ago to become the Chancellor of the University.
