Weizmann Taking Necessary Steps in Immigration Ban

All steps possible are being taken by Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the Jewish Agency, in regard to the immigration stoppage in Palestine, d’Avigdor Goldsmid told the Jewish Board of Deputies at its meeting here. The Board itself will not discuss the matter at this stage of the proceedings but will leave it in the hands of the Palestine committee. A special meeting of the Board will be called if necessary.
