An appeal for funds to aid the Central Universal Yeshiva “Merkaz Harav,” founded by the late chief rabbi of Palestine, Abraham I. Kook, has been sent out by his widow, Mrs. Reize Rivkah Kook.

Describing the economic situation of the institution as “critical,” she asked women in every country to organize special societies to support the yeshiva. The message was addressed “to the Jewish women in Eretz Israel and throughout the world.”
