During an address delivered in Dublin, Ga., recently, William G. McAdoo, presidential candidate, was questioned by one of the audience concerning his attitude on the Ku Klux Klan. In reply, Mr. McAdoo stated:
“I stand four square with respect to this and every other order, on the immutable guarantee of liberty contained in the first paragraph of the constitution of the United States, that is for freedom of religious worship, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and the right to paceable assemblage.”
