World chess great Gary Kasparov traveled to Israel to attend the opening of a Jerusalem chess academy that bears his name. As part of the events, Kasparov played against a number of Israeli chess enthusiasts, including Cabinet ministers Natan Sharansky and Avigdor Lieberman and Knesset member Yosef “Tommy” Lapid.
