The World Union of Jewish Students, which has not been active since the outbreak of the European war, has begun functioning here, it was announced today by Daniel Tecucianu, vice-president of the organization, who has just returned from Geneva where he conferred with members of the union’s pre-war excutive committee.
The union, which is receiving funds from the World Jewish Congress to facilitate its reorganization, was founded in London in 1920 for the support of Jewish students. It maintained schools, libraries and homes for students until the war.
