The establishment of three Jewish national museums in Palestine was urged today by M. M. Ussishkin, the veteran Zionist leader, at the closing ceremonies of the “Bialik Days.”
Mr. Ussishkin suggested that one museum be established in Jerusalem on Mt. Scopus and carry the name of Dr. Herzl, signifying the political renaissance of the Jews. A second would be established in Tel Aviv and named after Chaim Nachman Bialik, the Hebrew poet, signifying the Jewish cultural achievements. The third would carry the name of Baron de Rothschild, in Rishon L’Zion, the first Jewish colony in Palestine, established by the late Baron.
