Writers Jorge Luis Borge and Ernesto Sabato were among leading Argentinians who signed a statement this week protesting against the anti-Israeli resolutions adopted by UNESCO. Another Argentinian writer, Mrs. Victoria Ocampo, has written UNESCO Director General Annadou Mahtar M’Bow expressing her concern about the consequences of the action. She had earlier donated two real estate properties for UNESCO use in Argentina.
