Yaakov Herzog, New Israeli Minister to U.s., to Take Up Duties Soon

Yaakov Herzog, head of the Israel Foreign Ministry United States division, will leave soon to take up his new duties as Minister to the United States in the Israel Embassy in Washington, it was announced today. He succeeds Reuven Shiloah, who has been named political adviser to Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister.
