At a dinner celebrating the granting of a charter by the State Board of Regents to the Yeshivah Ohel Moshe, Hebrew parochial school of Bensonhurst, $10,000 was raised for a building fund to erect a permanent home for the institution. State Senator Philip M. Kleinfeld formally presented the charter to the school. Sam Kramer was toastmaster.
