Yesterday’s issue of the “Volkszeitung’, Yiddish Socialist daily, has been confiscated by the authorities for printing an article commemorating the sixth anniversary of the murder of Matteoti, the Italian Socialist deputy. The writer of the article had attacked in very strong terms the Italian Foreign Minister, Grandi, who is now in Poland.
As a result of the confiscation of the issue of the “Volkszeitung”, the Warsaw Bundist Committee has issued a pamphlet in Yiddish and Polish, telling the story of the killing of Matteoti by Italian Fascisti.
