The Yiddish Scientific Institute, international Jewish scientific body, is marking Dr. Sigmund Freud’s eightieth birthday by publishing, with Dr. Freud’s consent, his most important work, “Introduction to Psychoanalysis.” Dr. Freud is an honorary member of the institute’s board of trustees. The work, which has been translated into Yiddish by Dr. Max Weinreich, scholar and member of the board of trustees, will be published in six sections, all of which will appear this year.
