Yitzhak Graziani, longtime conductor of the Israeli army orchestra, died Monday at 79. Graziani led the military orchestra for some 40 years. Born in Bulgaria, he immigrated to Israel with his parents in 1948. In other Israeli music news, Leon Botstein was named music director of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra.
