Yosef Almogi, chairman of the Jewish Agency, is touring several Latin American Jewish communities. In addition to meeting with communal leaders to discuss aliya, education and communal affairs, he will also meet with the World Zionist Organization emissaries who were just released from detention in Argentina. Almogi’s visit had been scheduled long before that incident occurred.
