Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver of Cleveland was the principal speaker here on Oct. 26 at the opening of Youngstown’s Allied Jewish Campaign for $35,000. A resolution protesting against the present British policy in Palestine was unanimously adopted by the meeting. The campaign, which has already been oversubscribed by $2,000, is headed by Clarence J. Strouss, chairman; Julius Kahn, honorary chairman; Rabbi I. E. Philo; and Harry Levinson.
