Harry B. Zimman, former city commissioner, was unanimously elected president of the Harry H. Lapidus Community trust fund, formed as a permanent memorial to the late leader of the Omaha Jewish Community who was slain a year ago. All funds, representing voluntary contributions from all parts of the country, are to be held in trust “for educational, charitable, religious or benevolent uses or purposes of Jewish character.”
Other officers are J. H. Kulakofsky, vice-president; Dave Goldman, treasurer; and David Blacker, secretary.
