A JOINT RESOLUTION OF “UNEQUIVOCAL OPPOSITION” TO PARTITION OF PALESTINE HAS BEEN TAKEN BY AMERICAN DELEGATES TO THE WORLD ZIONIST CONGRESS REPRESENTING VARIOUS FACTIONS, DR. STEPHEN S. WISE, PRESIDENT OF THE ZIONIST ORGANIZATION OF AMERICA, ANNOUNCED TODAY AS HE SAILED ON THE BERENGARIA FOR EUROPE AND THE CONGRESS.

THE RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED AT A MEETING OF THE DELEGATES WHO WILL ATTEND THE CONGRESS FOR THE ZIONIST ORGANIZATION OF AMERICA, THE HADASSAH, MIZRACHI AND POALE ZION (LABORITES).

DR. WISE WAS ACCOMPANIED BY MRS. WISE AND ROBERT SZOLD, CHAIRMAN OF THE AMERICAN ECONOMIC COMMITTEE FOR PALESTINE, BOTH DELEGATES TO THE CONGRESS.

THE PALESTINE LABOR DELEGATION, MISS GOLDIE MEYERSON, MISS BEBE IDELSON AND DR. S. ZEMACH, ALSO SAILED, ANNOUNCING THEY WERE DETERMINED TO FIGHT PARTITION. AT A FAREWELL MEETING LAST NIGHT THEY HAD BEEN INFORMED THAT $400,000 HAD BEEN COLLECTED IN THE UNITED STATES FOR JEWISH LABOR IN PALESTINE.

ANOTHER BERENGARIA PASSENGER WAS GEORGE BACKER, PRESIDENT OF THE JEWISH TELEGRAPHIC AGENCY.
