The Mizrachi-Hapoel Hamizrachi Federation of Great Britain adopted a resolution criticizing the World Zionist Organization Executive’s recent decision to withdraw its invitation to Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Jewish Congress, to address a special session of the forthcoming World Zionist Congress in Jerusalem. The resolution stated, “Without entering into the differences of opinion which might exist in connection with Dr. Goldmann’s London speech (of Dec. 19 on Soviet Jewry), the Mizrachi Federation regrets both the treatment of an outstanding Zionist leader and the reason given to justify it.”
