The Zionist Laborites and the Mizrachi Organization of America today formally announced that they would not participate in the election of delegates to the forthcoming World Zionist Congress which was scheduled to be held on June 16. In view of the postponement of the congress until December, the two troops insist that the election of delegates be similarly postponed.

The Hadaseah issued a statement opposing the postponement of the elections. The Zionist Organization of America also opposed the postponement and decided to appoint a committee of five with power to act on all matters dealing with the elections. The ZDA executive also adopted a motion limiting any possible postponement to a maximum period of two weeks.
