Jacob de Haas, Rabbi Louis I. Newman and Robert Szold.

Morris Rothenberg, president of the Z. O. A., is expected to urge a program for the organization here on a broader scale than heretofore, to include cultural and other activities not now within the scope of the organization.

Discussion on this point, which will be introduced by Mr. Rothenberg in his presidential address Sunday, will be led by Louis Lipsky, chairman of the American Palestine Campaign and member of the Jewish Agency Executive; Abraham Goldberg, Jacob Fishman. Dr. S. Margoshes, Israel Chipkin, A. H. F. Friedland, Rabbi Milton Steinberg, Charles Cowan and Rabbi Solomon Goldberg.

One of the features of the convention will be an address by Felix M. Warburg, making his first appearance at a Zionist convention. Ludwig Lewisohn will address the convention on “The Re-emancipation of the Jewish People.” Dr. Stephen S. Wise will also speak on “The Menace of Nazism.”

A visitor to the convention this year will be Berl Locker, member of the World Zionist Executive, and one of the leaders of the Labor Zionist movement. Mr. Locker, who arrived here from Europe last week and addressed the Poale-Zeire Zion convention in Chicago, will undoubtedly make a strong plea for the Labor viewpoint in the upbuilding of Palestine.

The convention will conclude Tuesday with services commemorating the thirtieth anniversary of the death of Theodor Herzl, father of political Zionism.
