(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

Zionist factions represented on the Board of the Vienna Kehillah, including the Orthodox Mizrachi and the laborite Poale Zion, have united in a demand to extend the franchise in the election of the Kehillah board to a wider circle of the Jewish population.

The Zionist factions hold sixteen seats and threaten to resign, thus causing an obstruction in the work, unless their proposal is accepted. At present only a certain number of high taxpayers have a vote in the elections.
