Zionist leaders here today expressed satisfaction at the appointment of Capt, Oliver Stanley to the post of Minister for Colonies, succeeding Viscount Cranborne. It was pointed out that Capt, Stanley, shortly after he became Minister of War in 1940, denounced the Nazi persecution of Jews.
