Speaking at the opening on Sunday of the agricultural Exhibit, Prime Minister Galvanowskis made a bid for the friendship of all minority nationalities in Lithuania. “The cornerstone of Lithuania’s internal policy is the social harmony of all nationalities composing the Lithuanian state”, the Premier declared.

Leaders of the minority nationalities are disposed to interpret this as meaning that the Catholic Party, which is now in power, is anxious to bridge over the differences separating it from the non-Lithuanian minorities in Parliament.
