Chicago Jews Plan Colony in Palestine

Plans for a colony to be established in Palestine and to be called Chicago, are being made here. It is planned to raise $2,000,000 for the project, which would be a model agricultural community. The money would be raised by Chicago Jews under the Chicago Palestine Foundation Fund and the Zionist Central Committee, under the leadership of Max Shulman and Dr. Samuel Melamed, editor of the Jewish Courier.
