120 Jewish communities in various state have responded to the call issued by the American Emergency Committee on Jewish Refugees under the leadership of Louis Marshall and Dr. Stephen S. Wise. Leaders of these communities have notified the Committee that they undertake to raise the quotas allotted to them.
The drive aims to raise $500,000 for the purpose of relieving the situation of the stranded Jewish refugees in Europe and Cuba.
