A protest against the visit of Henri de Jouvenel, French High Commissioner of Syria, was expressed by the Palestine Arab Executive in a telegram to the Palestine High Commissioner, Lord Plumer.

The telegram states that the Palestine Arabs object to Jouvenel’s visit to Palestine because of his policy in Syria. A protest against the French High Commissioner’s visit was also made by the small Communist group in Palestine which issued a proclamation to that effect.
