A committee, consisting of Jews and Christians, to raise funds in Palestine for the purpose of aiding the effort to improve the value of the franc was formed here last night at a meeting of representative Jerusalem citizens.
The meeting was held at the Alliance Israelite Universelle school in Jerusalem and was called on the initiative of a group of Jewish Francophiles.
