Palestine Government Tells Pica to Renew Its Work in Attacked Area

(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

The Pica, the Palestine Jewish Colonization Association, may resume its planting activity in the area of Caesarea, J. F. Campbell, District Commissioner, told a delegation of the Association. The area was ravaged last week by Arab villagers who uprooted 4,000 eucalyptus trees planted by the Pica.

The government will declare the region a protected area under the provisions of the afforestation ordinance, the Commissioner stated.
