The cooperation of the Palestine government in combatting the unemployment situation in Palestine was invoked by the Zionist Executive in Jerusalem in a memorandum submitted to the government.

The government was also urged to a greater participation in the Jewish education and health budgets.

The government, it was stated, has instructed the District Commissioners of Palestine to cooperate with the Jewish agencies in the matter of employment.

Figures published yesterday concerning immigration and emigration show that 181 persons arrived in the country during the month of January, while 536 left the country.
