Davies Asks Zionists Not to Criticize England

A plea to Zionists not to criticize the British Government unduly regarding political matters pertaining to the Jewish National Home in Palestine was voiced by Sir Alfred Davies in an address before the Seaboard Zionist Regional Conference here yesterday.

“Great Britain means well by you,” he stated, urging Zionists to work in cordial cooperation with the mandatory power.

Sir Alfred also expressed disappointment that there has been dissension in the Zionist camp with regard to the leadership of Dr. Weizmann, whom he praised very highy. “Such a leader,” he asserted, “should receive united support.”

Dr. Herman Seidel of Baltimore and Rabbi Louis Schwefel of Washington presided at the conference sessions.

J. Kolin won the mile and a half race at the annual track and field games of the Ninety-second Street Y. M. II. A. at the I.ewisohn Stadium Sunday. A. Abrams was second and J. Josephson third.

In the 440-yard senior race, M. Schnur was the winner.
