U.S. Consul in Jerusalem Makes Representations to Palestine Government

The American Consul in Jerusalem, Oscar S. Heizer, has made representations to the Palestine Government regarding the attack on Pastor Pettit and his wife of Seattle. Washington, an announcement by the State Department here declares.

The attack was made by two armed brigands about 20 miles north of Jerusalem on May 5. Mrs. Pettit was wounded. Pastor Pettit is reported to be a Seventh Day Adventist.
