Report $35,000 Collected for Scholarship Fund

Mrs. Joseph Stolz of Chicago, national chairman of the Committee on Hebrew Union College Scholarships of the National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods has reported receipts totalling $35,343 towards the scholarship fund for 1926-27.

The Men’s Club of the Fort Washington Synagogue of New York City has just affiliated with the National Federation of Temple Brotherhoods, according to announcement made by Roger W. Straus, president. This makes the total number of Brotherhoods in the Federation 106.

The Synagogue Council of America, with which the Union of American Hebrew Congregations is affiliated, has just issued a calendar of Jewish holidays which it has distributed among universities, colleges, public schools and other institutions throughout the country.
