Assistant Atttorney General William B. Groat in. who is conducting the inyestigation into the alleged poultry trust said to have been formed to truise the price of Kesher fowl for the coming holidays, stated that befere the perct hearing Monday he would confer with leaders in the poultry business and try to desermine a fair price in advance of the Jewish holidays.
At the investigation which continued on Friday before Referee Joseph Rosalky in the offices of Attorney General Albert Ottinger, four Harlem merchants and one from Brooklyn testified that they had been ordered to patronize certain slaughter houses, which raised prices or sold them inferfor goods, and when they tried to buy elsewhere they were refused.
