Because of the infringement of the rights of Palestine Jews in the Transjordanian frontier force, the executive committee of the Tel Aviv municipality declined to accept an invitation of the frontier force to participate in the organization of the force’s tournament which is soon to be held in Tel Aviv.
The proceeds of the turnament will go for the sufferers of the recent earthquake.
In declining the invitation the committee stated that it takes this action in resentment of the limitation of Jewish representation on the force.
