Rear Admiral Louis M. Josephthal received the decoration of the Grand Military Order of Roumania from George Cretziano, Roumanian Minister to the United States, at a dinner given at the Admiral’s home last night.
An escort of New York policemen accompanied the Minister to the home of Admiral Josephthal commander of the New York State Militia, where he was met by Lieutenaat Commander Kenneth Gundlach of the Naval Militia.
The decoration was bestowed upon Admiral Josephthal for services to Roumania. He was chairman to welcome Queen Marie on her visit to this country.
