European Jews Aid Russian Kin by Tool Supply Through Ort

The plan evolved by the Ort, society for the promotion of trades and agriculture, with a view to substituting self help for charity by supplying tools, is gaining in popularity among Jews in Europe.

Recent reports show that 725 machines have been ordered through Ort branches in Europe for transmission to declassed relatives in Russia. Fifteen machines have been ordered for shipment to Palestine.
