The Jews of Acre have decided to evacuate the town, proceeding to Haifa. The decision to evacuate came after the few remaining families were stoned by their neighbors on Friday. The only Jews remaining in Acre are 48 prisoners held at the citadel. They were arrested in the flour mill, where they had organized for self-defense. The presiding judge of the court informed the prisoners he will not try a single man until he has examined all documents.
