Foreign Government Decoration Withheld from Jewish Leaders, Charge

Decorations sent by the Czechoslovakian government through the Palestine government for the heads of the various communities in the country were withheld from the Chief Rabbi, while the Grand Mufti and Cardinal Barlassina received theirs. This charge was contained in today’s issue of the “Doar Ha’yom”. Hebrew daily, which states further that the Czechoslovakian Consul visited Chief Rabbi A. J. Kook to express regret over the incident.
